We need chaperones for this retreat. Please pray about spending a few days with our teens. You can donate through the "Tithing Online" tab, then choose "Youth Group"
OASIS - Older Adults Still in Service
Join us for lunch and fellowship. Bring a dish to share. Invite a friend. Here at Gospel Light Baptist Church, in the Fellowship Hall. Tuesday, May 19th at 11:30 am.
The Frank Thompson Memorial YOUTH FISHING TOURNAMENT
Saturday, May 30th. This is an outreach ministry for our church, for children under the age of 16. Youth Registration is a side tab or dropdown on this website. Event Details: Starts at 8 am. Bring your pole and a chair. Concessions and Bait are free. The location is in Powhatan and will be emailed with other details closer to the event.
Members can sign up to volunteer at this activity in the sanctuary or contact the church office.
Father's Day - Tailgate Sunday
June 21st at 11 am. We'll have a cookout immediately following the service. Bring your truck, lawn chairs, and your Bible.
Dads, invite your children and friends.
VBS - June 22-25
Registration is open. This year, we are getting back to basics. Join us, let's get to know God. We'll have fun activities, crafts, and Bible stories. This is an early evening program for rising Pre-K through rising 6th graders. A light dinner is served at 6 pm during arrival & registration. There is no charge for this event.
July 6th-8th GLBC Bus Trip to The Bible Museum and Sight& Sound
We're off on an adventure again....
Our bus is full. Please get your deposit into the church. Check with the office to see if there is a waitlist for this trip.
Mid Atlantic Teen Retreat, July 14-17, 2026
4 days your teen won't want to miss! Action-packed, challenging preaching, games, and lots of fun. We've rented a house in Colonial Heights. Cost: $250 includes: lodging, the Retreat,Top Golf, and Kings Dominion. For more information, contact Pastor Travis.
